The Open Line

Hillel operates an Open Line from its Jerusalem and Tel Aviv branches.

The Open Line is the channel where people from the haredi world establish primary contact with us.

We hear from people who have decided to leave and seek help in planning the move. We also get calls from people who cannot or do not wish to change their lives, but who want to talk about a wide range of subjects.

We are careful to point out that leaving the haredi world to join modern Israel requires determination and stamina, and we urge the callers to think very carefully before making your decision.  If you wish to meet with us we arrange to do so.

You would be able to speak anonymously with the volunteers of Hillel and with Yoztim (ex-haredim) about the thoughts, questions and problems that trouble you.
Hillel would never try to convince you to take any step and would be most confidential.
