Who supports us?
Hillel is funded by Funds, Foundations and private donors in Israel and abroad.
The New Israel Fund was our chief source of aid in the early years. We now have the help of other important Funds and Foundations at home and abroad. The number of private donors who give generously of their resources increases from year to year.
In addition we have the enormous in-kind contributions of our volunteers. The in-kind contribution of Hillel volunteers in 2004 was conservatively estimated at a sum equivalent to 160% of the annual budget for this year.
Like most non-profit organizations Hillel must raise its annual budget from intensive fund-raising.
We would like to express our gratitude to all our donors and friends for their financial and moral support.

Our Gala Fund-Raising Events
We hold a Gala Fund-Raising Event each year, where performing artists volunteer their time and talents and our members do the administrative work. (Tsavta Theatre in Tel Aviv donated its theater and stage support for three consecutive years).
These events have been highly successful and we have been able to use the proceeds for the needs of our newcomers.
